Struggling

One Superintendent works at a low-budget golf course, because it is the only job he can find; another works at a low-end golf course, because he is afraid of failing.  (3/25/19)

    • David…point well made. I agree with you fully. Low-budget golf courses are often great places to work. Superintendents at these courses are able to have noticeable, daily impact, and the courses tend to promote an atmosphere of camaraderie between workers, golfers, and owners (a sense of family). Although I have no data, or special insight, to support this claim, I suspect superintendents a low-budget courses are often more ‘balanced’ and joyful/content than their brothers at high-budget courses.
